Senior Sales Manager
Job Description

KickFire is hiring a Senior Sales Manager with experience selling B2B SaaS and DaaS / API services.

This position provides primary sales management to our team of Account Executives.

This role encompasses building and developing your team and working in partnership with Marketing to drive growth.

This person is primarily responsible for managing a team of sales professionals and driving towards monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Responsibilities

    Manage Account Executives by:

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the product offering, customer needs and competitive landscape
  • Setting expectations with every account executive around forecasting, pipeline status and sales activity reporting
  • Internalizing and delivering the value proposition clearly and persuasively to a variety of different audiences.
  • Motivate team to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales quotas
  • Analyze team metrics and build daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports
  • Develop team through proper coaching, development of sales skills, motivational techniques, and goal setting
  • Consistently improve the account executive process to increase efficiency and accountability
  • Works closely with Account Executives, Marketing and entire Executive team
  • Actively expand and maintain knowledge of products, industry competitors and market trends/needs
  • Team building and mentoring
  • Recruit, hire and train new account executives
Requirements
  • Has five or more years of successful experience in SaaS/DaaS sales or sales management
  • At one point was an individual contributor in sales, but currently has held a Leadership role for two or more years
  • Has demonstrated entrepreneurial behaviors in other endeavors and possesses an intrinsic drive to be successful
  • We are a fast-growing company, so you need to be a person who will take initiative to “figure it out” and take ownership in finding solutions
  • You are a team player. Everyone needs to pull for each other, share best practices, and take on team projects to make the entire organization better.
  • BA/BS Degree Preferred

This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary + uncapped commission

Job Description

We’re seeking a Support Manager to join our fast-paced, dynamic team! This role is a full-time position on-site in our San Jose office.

The Support Manager for KickFire will manage our Customer Support team and assist on various projects to help develop and grow our customer relationships.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, consistently (and fiercely) accurate, and a team player.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire a comprehensive technical understanding of KickFire Saas/Daas products to enable technical leadership in the analysis, isolation, and resolution of customer issues
  • Assist new, and potential, customers with installation/integration to KickFire products
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with proven experience mentoring others in troubleshooting techniques
  • Directly manage a team of Customer Support Specialists assisting customers with KickFire products/services
  • Be hands-on and provide guidance to our Customer Support team by taking customer calls, role playing, and shadowing
  • Lead, coach, support, and develop processes to improve the Customer Support team’s efficiency, quality and culture
  • Work in tandem with the development team to manage the escalation process, ensure customer SLAs are met, and oversee timely communication of issue status to customers
  • Drive product quality by collecting customer feedback and conveying trends to the product/development manager(s)
  • Perform annual personnel performance reviews, and periodic one-on-one’s, of Support team members
Qualifications
  • 3+ years managing and growing a Customer Service team
  • Able to collaborate effectively across Sales/Product/Engineering teams and with all levels of management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships easily and with authenticity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with SaaS and/or DaaS platforms
  • Previous hands-on experience providing technical support
  • Strong teamwork background, self-motivated, and driven with great time management skills
  • Fast learner and can work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Can-do attitude with a passion for learning new skills
  • Customer Success and Service is in your DNA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability, and willingness, to learn quickly
  • Ability to keep and preserve confidentiality
  • Ability to sit and/or stand, type and view information on a computer (desktop and/or laptop) and monitor for extended periods of time
  • Bonus Qualifications (not required but desired)
  • Basic understanding of HTML/JavaScript
  • Some experience with Tag Management solutions

SaaS Collections Specialist (San Jose)
Job Description

KickFire is hiring a full-time SaaS Collections Specialist to coordinate collections of our recurring subscription contracts. Reporting to the Billing Manager, the ideal candidate is comfortable working in a small start-up environment, has a positive attitude, and wants a balance of recurring tasks and special projects. You should be detailed oriented, well organized, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to handle difficult customers, finding ways to enforce contract terms while keeping customer satisfaction front of mind. Like most start-ups, everyone is a team player, and this position also plays a key role in basic office management responsibilities like coordinating purchases of office supplies and stocking the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with Customers via email or phone to resolve invoicing, collection, and retention issues
  • Handle cancellation requests, working to convince customers to renew instead and coordinating retention efforts with our Customer Support team
  • Timely and accurate processing of daily credit cards, ACH, Check & other payments
  • Process daily invoices to customers
  • Processing new customer contracts and amendments into our Billing system
    • Review contract terms and alert Management to any errors or inconsistencies
  • Develop and enhance communication templates for recurring messages to customers
  • Develop and update documentation of contract and collection processes
  • Process and dispute credit card chargebacks in a timely manner
  • Process and submit accounts to collections agency
  • Answer Billing department phone line
  • Data entry, filing, and posting notes in customer accounts
  • Coordinate purchasing of office supplies
  • Coordinate purchasing of company lunches and food for the kitchen
  • Receive deliveries and mail and distribute as needed
  • Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2 years minimum prior collections experience
    • Ideally Prior experience in collections of SaaS or DaaS contracts
  • Prior experience in reviewing and processing contracts
  • Persistent attitude, able to pursue collections while staying positive
    • Focused on finding solutions that balance customer satisfaction with contract enforcement
  • Excellent communication skills, both email and telephone
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Self-motivated, demonstrating a strong work ethic and integrity
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, looking for solutions rather than dwelling on problems
  • Adaptable, desiring to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to keep and preserve confidentiality
  • Prior experience working with sophisticated ERP systems
  • Comfortable using Excel for basic project management and calculations
  • Proficient in using email
  • Proficient in using a Mac is a plus
  • English required, additional languages a plus

Responsibilities
  • Primary Role-Integrations-Expand/Connect the KickFire API data into other platforms such as Marketing Automation, Chat, Personalization, ABM, and more
  • Scripts and crons, Assist with scripts to help improve data or automate processes
  • Assist in maintaining current products
  • In-line code commenting as well as separate documentation shared with Dev team
  • Collaborate with Dev team and or other teams for group projects
  • Provide support for special projects and product changes as the need arises
Qualifications
